Conceptualised as a system to control multiple small sites from one remote location, IXP120 is designed to operate as a single application in conjunction with a database management system. IXP120 provides users with exceptional control and manipulation of a number of sites and can integrate with third party hardware and products. New features include a Java 6 RE, utilised for its platform stability and independence, and full validation for Microsoft Vista.
IXP120 databases can now operate in Firebird V1.5.4 and the alarm monitoring application has been amended to include support from Ethernet and PSTN dial up controllers, enabling the reporting of events from different sites with the controller acting in a semi intelligent state. On the triggering of an alarm, the controller will alert a predetermined contact, such as an alarm company or security office.
The system capacity is 1000 sites with four doors per site and 2000 tagholders. A plus is the reporting facility that collates and displays data from live transactions in a web-based format.
