The E-Ultra-3000 is an ultra-wide-dynamic dome camera utilising the Pixim Digital Pixel Imaging System (DPS), to provide improved performance in contrasting lighting conditions.
The camera utilises a hi-tech method of image exposure to sample each pixel individually. In other words, each pixel is in reality an individual camera. Good quality images are thus provided in situations of great contrasts in light.
Typical applications for this camera include covering entry points/exits leading to direct sunlight and any situation where bright and dark light is affecting the camera's image. In a doorway situation when a normal camera is used, the background of the image is bright and the person walking through the door is very dark. It is also useful in situations where bright light is reflecting off objects causing blooming of the image. The exposure mode can be set as automatic or configured to a custom setting to suit the exact environment.
The individual pixel sampling also means colour reproduction is extremely accurate, with each pixel deciding the correct white balance setting.
For low light situations, the camera has a slow shutter mode which can be activated.
