The design incorporates a hardened steel cable that can be looped around a fixed object anchoring it to a post or pillar etc. An alarm sounds if an attempt is made to cut the steel anchorage cable. It is a very lightweight yet extremely strong design. The lid on the safe is equipped with sensors that detect a forced entry that will also sound the alarm. This unit is large enough to store a standard size laptop computer. The PortaSafe is constructed of a tough outer casing with an inner steel chassis. A foldaway handle allows easy transport. The key locks the cable in position and sets the alarm. Its design makes it suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
