Bentel Series 600 smoke detector

Fire detection technology company Bentel, has introduced the 601P Series which is a reliable optical smoke detector capable of detecting any visible smoke in general applications and areas. This detector provides superior performance and is designed for rapid installation, improved operation and ease of servicing.

The 601P Series is equipped with an asymmetrical sampling chamber and signal processing technique to stop unwanted false alarms caused by very small insects. Unique infrared light pulses are scattered onto a photodiode as soon as smoke enters the sampling chamber of the detector, making its reaction quick and effective. As an added precaution, an electrical signal, which has been compared against a preset alarm level, is then created by these pulses. It uses a low operational voltage and is aesthetically discreet as well as compatible with a standard mounting and relay base.
