This unit is designed to operate either as a repeater or a base station for multiple frequencies as well as GSM. When configured as a base-station, it allows the user to decode signals received on eight different frequencies at once. This means that eight FSK decoders can now be combined into one single unit. It also has the ability to receive and decode GPRS signals on the GSM network. When configured as a repeater, it can receive and re-transmit signals from four different frequencies. This allows the user to replace four FSK repeaters on a single site with this unit. One of the main attractions of this unit is the fact that it can receive and transmit GPRS signals. It is able to receive signals on multiple VHF frequencies at a high point and re-route them via the GSM network to either a central station anywhere in the world or via SMS to any cellphone.
