The E-IPV7100 is a single channel dual-codec IP video server. It is able to encode an analogue video input and convert it to a high-resolution MPEG-4 or MJPEG video stream. With the high performance embedded processor, the E-IPV7100 is able to provide 25 fps frame rate at a full 704x576 (D1) resolution. Dual stream support is fitted as standard, allowing two individual streams to be delivered at different resolutions and different frame rates. This can be extremely useful when one needs to record a hi-resolution hi-fps stream locally and view a lower res, lower fps stream offsite. Usually offsite surveillance is done over a lower bandwidth connection such as ADSL.
Operating standalone, the E-IPV7100 has been designed for use on standard TCP/IP networks. It has a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface and support for a variety of IP and Internet protocols. Communication with the device is from a standard Internet browser or through an IP software package.
