The multichannel router decoder from FSK combines both RF and GSM technology. The unit, when configured as a base station, can receive signals from seven unique RFs as well as all GSM/GPRS signals. When configured as a repeater it can do the same as well as re-routing radio signals via GSM/GPRS to the control centre. This means the user can use the GSM network as the main backbone for all signals and in the event of this network being inoperative, it will immediately convert back to conventional RF and report these signals to the control centre, allowing the luxury of GPRS routing with the backing of the radio network. GPRS routing also gives the user the opportunity to monitor remote areas that were previously out of radio frequency range with full hand shaking to ensure safe signal transmission.
