The E-559 is an all-in-one outdoor surveillance camera combining a high resolution day/night camera and auto iris varifocal day/night lens with an infrared illuminator and IP66 rated enclosure.
The E-559 has been designed to provide true colour reproduction in the day and B/W infrared imaging at night with no focus shift.
The lens fitted to the E-559 is a special infrared compatible type. This compensates for the focus shift that normally occurs when moving from normal illumination in the day to infrared illumination at night. The lens is an auto-iris varifocal type and can be manually adjusted between 3,8 and 9,5 mm. Extremely innovative, this camera has two screw adjustments for focus and focal length.
Integrated into the E-559 is a Hi-Brite 8-LED infrared Illuminator. This switches on when the camera moves to the day/night mode. It provides extensive illumination for the camera in the B/W mode allowing surveillance in conditions with poor or no lighting.
