With over 25 years of experience in company resource management, SACO's latest release called "The SACO System Enterprise Edition" offers a fully integrated Resource Management System that is modular and flexible allowing one to configure the system to the present and future needs of a company.
The system's comprehensive and flexible architecture integrates the control of a company's security, including alarm systems and CCTV surveillance, with the management of time and attendance and the tracking of company assets. Other functions such as fuel management and cafeteria management have also been included.
Biometric validation has also been added, to improve the level of security for the access control as well as time and attendance functions in a cost effective manner. By using contactless smart cards (RFID read/write technology), the company's locally manufactured portable and fixed readers and equipment offers 100% read integrity and near zero reader maintenance.
The flexibility of the system allows it to be used for any type of industry. At present SACO Systems has more than 300 operating sites in South Africa, controlling from ten employees up to more than 100 000. These include large clients like Richards Bay Minerals, Samancor, Sasol, South African Airways and Highveld Steel.
