EMS has released its Wireless Train Control system using QID readers and controllers.

No software is required for the solution with the driver controller and portable signaller having a locked protocol preventing external interference and cross talk with other units or systems. Designed for the rugged mine environment the controller operates on train supplied power with the remote unit operating on mine rechargeable batteries.

Designed in close cooperation with the mines, the final solution meets the mines exacting standards of safety with features such as 'activate to send', cab sound and light indicators and driver confirmations for every signal instruction.
