The XLS60 multiprotocol intelligent fire alarm control panel provides a cost-effective platform for a fire alarm system that is both flexible and expandable.
The XLS60 control panel is fully compatible with Honeywell's TC800 Series analog addressable sensors, control and monitor modules. In addition to the TC800 Series protocol, the XLS60 can support Apollo (Series 90, XP95 and Discovery), Hochiki and Nittan protocols.
Each panel can support up to five analog addressable loops. Each loop can support up to 99 TC800 Series analog sensors and 99 TC800 Series modules giving the panel a maximum capacity of 990 points. With all other third party protocols each loop is limited to 126 devices thus giving a maximum panel capacity of 630 addresses.
The XLS60 can be networked with other XLS60 and XLS50 panels using master-slave architecture. Furthermore, if a graphic-based PC front end is required, the panels can be connected to Honeywell's Excel security manager (XSM). Each panel supervises its own detection system and is designed to function independently of all others in the network in case of a communication failure.
