The latest speciality CCTV security product from Powerhouse International is the DVR-Pro, specifically designed to protect all the inputs to the digital video recorder from lightning and surge risks. The DVR-Pro comes in two models. One has 8-way and the other 16-way coaxial lines. Both units are 19-inch rack mountable. Both devices offer full power protection including lightning and surges, via IEC input and output sockets and 100Base T Ethernet RJ45 input and output connections. All connections - coaxial, power and Ethernet - that are being protected have individually replaceable modules.
