Rapiscan Africa has supplied a shipment of Metor 200 walk through metal detectors for deployment in Nigeria. Facilitated through its Nigerian reseller, Brainware Technologies Nigeria, Rapiscan has supplied the bulk of the 55 units, which will be installed in the various branches of The First Bank of Nigeria.
According to Brainware Technologies managing director, Chris Umukoro, the company selected the Metor 200 due to its multizone functionality and various other features to be included in a total security infrastructure for the Nigerian bank.
"The Metor 200 offers high traffic throughput, reliable detection of threat items, and tamper-proof, continuous operation. Other features include user friendly interface, remote display unit and backup battery system."
