Expo for crime investigators

South Africa’s first Crime Investigators Equipment Expo will be held on 17 October in Johannesburg.

Organised by Marshall International, the pre-registration event will be limited to staff and organisations involved in law enforcement and corporate investigations.

The exhibition will host six of South Africa’s top suppliers of products and services to the crime investigation industry. It is aimed at displaying a variety of tools and services that will better assist investigators, allowing them to do their job more efficiently and successfully.

Exhibitors will include Vendoc, Investigative Software Solutions, ProScripto, A+ Polygraph, Knowledge Focus and Marshall International. Products and services on display will include video and audio surveillance kits, body-worn disguised video surveillance kits, video enhancing systems, counter surveillance equipment, asset tracking systems and vehicle tracking.

Veridoc will show its spectral video analyser, spectral microscope, magnifiers, XRF metal analyser and forensic torch.

Investigative Software Solutions will demonstrate its award-winning Choicepoint i2 investigative analysis software.

Their products enable law enforcement and commercial organisations to efficiently handle data, interpret its meaning and communicate the findings. This covers the military, counter terrorism, retail, financial and insurance fraud, money laundering and drug trafficking.
