We provide radio communication networks throughout the RSA and offer end-to-end solutions for the transmission and monitoring of alarm signals. In addition, QD's cash protection systems are unique to the RSA and we have been the market leader since 1992, providing a high-tech solution in the protection of bank note dye staining defence technology at local pricing to offer an alternative to the very expensive European alternatives.

Centurion understands the South African market and conditions very well, which enables us to develop products that will satisfy the South African needs. We understand how South Africa's lightning can affect certain products, by developing products locally; we are able to prevent damage by offering products with lightning protection. There is a huge benefit in producing products locally because you have control over the availability of products to meet the market demands.

- Richard Rohman, Centurion Systems, www.centsys.co.za

Our product is unique to South Africa, there is no imported equivalent but there are similar products produced locally.

- Bill Mincher, Razor-Spike International, www.razorspike.co.za

The fact that South Africa has become such a high security conscious climate has made our products evolve over the past 14 years due to the changing security trends and requirements of the marketplace. All our products are manufactured in-house as we are proud to be local, and are conscious to the fact that unemployment is so high, so the trend to produce the products in a foreign region like the Far East would not be an option for us as we want to create jobs as well as help to stimulate the South African economy.
