Access control made easier

April 2006 Access Control & Identity Management

Fermax has introduced Halo, a colour video entry system panel with interactive digital video entry and access control system. Halo includes a thermometer and clock.

The Fermax company and its founder, Ramón Benedito, have invested all of their technological expertise, design experience, innovating culture and future vision in Halo. Purer design and more elegant lines are combined with finishes that are highly resistant to rough weather conditions. Halo is an extremely tough and resistant one-piece panel with a concave-curved profile, manufactured in anodised aluminium.

The sophisticated technology combines with intuitive use, thanks to an LCD 128x128 pixel graphic screen. An interface with icons, menus and graphic animations make it easy to use, just like a mobile phone.

Halo comes with advanced security features as standard, represented by the dual access control system for authorised personnel: using the keypad or by means of proximity cards. The latter is hidden behind the screen.

All the system parameters (both for installation and use) can be configured from the panel.

Halo is available in two versions - one model for buildings, incorporating access control function by keypad and proximity; and a basic model for detached homes and offices, with built-in proximity access control.

Fermax products are available locally from Regal Imports, ADI and Security City & Hardware Supplies.
