Charity volleyball day

April 2006 News & Events

Radio Data Communications (RDC) has announced that it will be hosting the Party Animals Charity Volleyball Fun Day on 14 May at the Edenvale Sports Club.

Previous beneficiaries of the event include Reach For a Dream Foundation, Cotlands and JAFTA. This year the SPCA Bedfordview and Germiston will be the beneficiaries.

RDC invites security companies to participate in the tournament to compete against their colleagues and put their volleyball skills to the test.

"The charity day has proved to be an ideal platform for RDC to give back to the community," says Lee-Ann Andreka, RDC sales and marketing director. "It is also great for reinforcing the relationships we have with our clients. Our customers have used this event as a team building exercise in past years and I encourage all of you to use this year's event to your advantage."

RDC is appealing to those companies who are unable to attend this fun-filled charity event for sponsorships and/or donations in support of the SPCA. "We are hoping to raise enough money through donations and sponsorships, as well as teams participating on the day, to support the SPCA in improving their Outreach Clinics in the disadvantaged areas of our community.

"The day is going to be a most talked about event of 2006 yet," concludes Andreka.

The overall entry will be restricted to 36 teams so an early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. The closing date for entries will be 22 April.
