New integrated security system

March 2006 Surveillance

Gallagher Security Management Systems and Dedicated Micros have collaborated to develop a powerful new security solution.

Drawing on the Cardax FT DVR Interface, which provides the ability to connect to third party DVR (or NVR) systems, a high level interface between Cardax FT and Dedicated Micros' Digital Sprite 2 and DV-IP ranges has been developed. This interface provides an integrated colour DVR and alarms management solution for central alarm monitoring.

Customers using the Cardax FT/DM DVR integration can now use one integrated front end GUI (graphical user interface) that will allow easy live or playback of recorded images associated with specific Cardax FT system activity. This functionality has proven very useful time and again for customers who have accessed information and video relating to particular events and incidents of crime.

The Cardax FT/Digital Sprite 2 and DV-IP integrations offer simple operator configuration set up. Ease of installation and use are core elements of this integration's success.

Digital Sprite 2 can capture up to 100 pictures per second (100PPS PAL/120PPS NTSC), allowing realtime recording of an alarmed camera while simultaneously recording other cameras in time-lapse mode.

DV-IP Server offers installers and end-users a straightforward transition into the world of networkable CCTV solutions, where reliable and easily scalable CCTV is required.
