Success for Tavcom Training at Hampshire business awards

Tavcom Training was recently honoured at the annual Portsmouth News Business Excellence Awards ceremony at the city's famous Guildhall.

Sales director Paul Tennent was presented with a 'Highly Commended' award in the hotly contested Small Business of the Year category during the black-tie gala evening which is sponsored by Business Link Wessex and a host of other leading UK organisations.

The panel of judges had been impressed by Tavcom's strong growth over the preceding 12 months as the company's range of BTEC training courses and dedicated SIA licensing courses for Control Room Operators attracted record numbers of delegates to its Hampshire Training Centre.

Paul Tennent was delighted with this latest addition to Tavcom's growing collection of trophies. "After the busiest year in our company's history it is a special pleasure to have our hard work recognised and rewarded by the rest of the business community. I am sure it will spur us on to even greater achievements in the coming year."

The Business Excellence Awards night - at which the achievements of businesses of all sizes in all sectors of the local community are celebrated - has become firmly established as the premier event of its kind in south-east Hampshire.
