New GMS diallers and interfaces

November 2005 Infrastructure

The PKN4 Plus, manufactured by Pinkerton, an Italian manufacturer controlled by BPT and distributed by TRI-BPT Automation, is a new kind of mobile voice and SMS dialling system. It can be used in standalone alarm systems, alarm transmitter, engines, pumps, vending machines, temperature control, car and boat alarms or for any application where you need to have information about events happening somewhere else. You can receive either SMS or voice messages as required. There are up to four inputs which can generate four voice messages or SMS that can be sent to up to 10 telephone numbers to be called in a sequence to be decided. You can also activate up to four outputs by simply calling the unit. The unit also allows the listen-in function: you can connect an audio module to the unit and in case of an event, call it and listen to what is happening in the environment where the unit is installed. Programming can be done by SMS directly to the SIM card of the unit or using a simple PC software program.

Another innovative product is the VM3, an interface between analog telephone equipment and GSM network. It is possible to transmit exactly the same data, which are programmed in Alarm Control Panel or other communication device (for instance ID protocol or voice messages) through the GSM network. It is very useful as back-up for a standard PSTN telephone line to the GSM network.
