Open day at TRI-BPT on CCTV and SMATV

November 2005 News & Events

TRI-BPT held various 'open days' around the country in September and October to present the latest products in CCTV and SMATV (satellite master antenna TV).

The events were hosted at the company branches with the coordination of the products manager Tony Verwey and Faisal Noormahomed and with the presence of the complete sales team.

On the CCTV side, a complete new BPT Vision catalogue was presented - a new PC-based realtime DVR, a 530TVL colour camera and a Linux embedded system, to mention but a few.

As for SMATV, the Fracarro (Italy) range has been presented with a completely new catalogue: from the normal VHF-UHF range to the satellite dishes to the K Series for complex installations. Amplifiers, combiners and distribution components complete the range.

TRI-BPT's aim is to be a new player in the field of communication and the partnership with Fracarro is the right step to propose a new range of business to the existing client base.

Fracarro was established in 1933 and has 470 employees with branches in France, Spain, Portugal, UK and Thailand a sales turnover of 80 million Euros in 2004 (R656 million). As a confirmation of its leadership Fracarro acquired the Philips SMATV division in 2001.
