Dehn's PHV I single-pole phase comparator is designed for safe and reliable testing of in-phase conditions in three-phase electrical systems in both dry and wet conditions. Available from Surge Technology's HV division, the type PHV I has an electronic indicator with automatic self testing when switched on.
Suitable for voltages up to 36 kV/50 Hz, the single-pole phase comparator is used to detect the phase relationship by measuring the current passing through the stray capacitance to earth and does not require a connecting lead to earth.
The phase comparator PHV I is used in contact with the parts to be tested and the LED indication provides a yellow permanent light for 'ready for operation', a green permanent light for 'in-phase conditions' and a red flashing light for 'out of phase conditions'.
Dehn is represented locally by Surge Technology.
