Access control keypad integrated in the intercom entry panel

September 2005 Access Control & Identity Management

An access control keypad can now be integrated in the intercom entry panel.

Often, after installing an intercom system, the user needs to add more security and the demand of an access control keypad is increasing. Now it is necessary to add new components, which often do not fit in the previous installation. Space and aesthetics now become a problem.

BPT presents the HNA/102, an access keypad that can be integrated in the popular Targha intercom entry panel. Now you can increase the level of security of your intercom entry panels without adding other components having a different design.

HNA/102 has two relay outputs to control gate automation and up to 100 users' codes can be stored. Each user can have his own personal code with a choice of three, four or five digits. The access code can be 'disguised' inside a sequence of numbers (max 20), assuring more privacy. HNA/102 is back-lit, sounds whenever a key is pressed and two LEDs also provide visible confirmation that the operation has been carried out. It has 'non volatile' memory so that the programming is never lost, even during a power cut. It can be directly and easily programmed via the keypad.

There are a lot of applications and advantages thanks to the two-relay output: it can be used to control any main door lock release, whether for office or home use. It is capable of controlling garden lighting, porch lights, garage lights etc.
