BPT S.p.A., Italian manufacturer of intercom and home automation systems, has acquired the complete control of two companies: Brahms S.p.A, an Italian manufacturer of burglar and fire alarms and Pinkerton S.p.A., distributor of alarms, CCTV and manufacturer of accessories for alarms.
The acquisition is part of BPT management strategy to expand in the security business, through the electrical distribution and the professional channels.
Brahms is based in Milan, is active in the electrical distribution chain and has three lines of products: burglar alarm, fire alarm and CCTV.
Pinkerton is based in Bologna and is active in the professional field, representing important manufacturers in the security industry, like Merit Li-Lin, Atzumi and Inovonics. The company also has a factory in Slovenia where alarm diallers and interfaces are manufactured.
The new acquisitions give TRI-BPT Automation a new range of products to work on in security. The first product to be imported will be a Brahms brand new wireless alarm range easy to install with up to 64 devices programmed through customisable voice message, no more dipswitch messages.
