AmaTech smart labels combine all the physical characteristics of a conventional label with the advantages of RF identification technology and so are of particular benefit to logistics providers, express and cargo services and airlines for baggage identification purposes.

Manufactured with IC devices from Microchip, Philips or Texas Instruments, the labels' RFID performance ensures optimum handling.

Depending on the size of the label, reading distances of up to 1,5 m are achievable. AmaTech smart labels operate at 13,56 MHz (in compliance with the provisional ISO 15693 standard) and are supplied on reels either as an ultra-thin inlay or finished label.

Principle applications include: supply chain management; production control; baggage identification; express parcel and cargo services; and anti-counterfeiting.
