Local, integrated access control

June 2005 Access Control & Identity Management, Information Security

Building upon a wealth of experience gained through the development of System 42 and associated hardware (Syclon), Entex introduces a locally developed product capable of delivering the latest access control and security management functionality.

MiSoft offers an holistic approach to truly 'integrated' access control, CCTV, BMS and security management requirements through unique design and flexible software. In addition, over 350 existing System 42 customers can take advantage of MiSoft's 'retrofit' capability.

By offering a simple upgrade path for current users of any Syclon and/or Xetron-based system, MiSoft provides a platform for mixing this technology within a new hardware/software environment, delivering added functionality at an affordable price. Simply put, MiSoft can become the 'natural' evolution for any System 42 installation.

Entex has already developed and deployed combined software and hardware solutions, designed to be totally flexible within these 'legacy' environments. Equally, the technology is ideally suited for 'new' installations encompassing access control and security management requirements. Bespoke requests can easily be accommodated and supported because the product's origins are locally controlled.

Entex has secured several international distribution agreements and can supply related products from manufacturers such as HID, Verid, Keri and IES. Entex has agreed to hold stock locally and provide full support of any product within its portfolio to ensure a superior customer experience.

"End-to-end service forms the very essence of our delivery. And that, simply put means, design through to deployment and everything in between," says Entex's press officer. "The convergence of IT and Security is the future, so our approach, expertise and portfolio are all designed to expedite this philosophy."
