Sony has strengthened its position as one of the leading providers of surveillance solutions by naming Reditron as the preferred distributor in southern Africa. This move will also see Sony opening its first Service Centre at Reditron's offices in Wynberg, Johannesburg.
"This not only reconfirms our commitment to Reditron - but also to the industry at large," says Sony Business SA, product manager, Will Klopper. "Reditron will now be in a position to push our new range of competitively priced surveillance solutions more heavily. The company is the largest distributor of electronic security solutions in the country and enjoys a reputable, established presence on a national level.
"The Sony Approved Service Centre will allow Reditron to provide an additional value-added service approach that complements Sony's philosophy," he adds.
Reditron MD, John Loftus, comments: "We are delighted to have been made the preferred distributor for Sony's wide range of surveillance solutions. In addition to Sony's CCTV equipment, that includes cameras, recorders, monitors, switches and multiplexers, we will also be pushing Sony's exciting new range of competitively priced IP-based network monitoring products."
Sony will continue to make local and international expertise available to Reditron and offers nationwide support, maintenance and consultancy services.
