CMT Trading has launched the ADPRO FastTrace remote access digital video recorder (DVR) that is designed to provide high performance and video playback quality over networks or various telecommunication links. Offering tape-free, digital archiving and flexible access to stored or live video, FastTrace offers instant retrieval of a specific event or transaction.

Key features include industrial grade embedded software that allows for digital storage and remote access and retrieval over limited bandwidth networks. Optimum storage capacity and the ability to provide enterprise 'wide alarm' monitoring further enhance its integrated alarm handling and transmission capability.

FastTrace is well suited for the banking and finance sectors where its product features are ideally suited to addressing the risk of over-counter or ATM fraud, and protecting branch floor staff and assets from a security threat. The FastTrace system configuration allows selected cameras to be programmed to record transactions only, allowing maximum use of disk storage space and availability of high-quality, long-term video.

As no local user intervention is required, the advantage of site control by a central monitoring station (CMS) allows instant response to live video images transmitted from a location on the activation of an alarm or system event (eg, the activation of a panic button or camera failure). FastTrace's remote monitoring feature is also highly regarded in other industries with multiple sites and increased security needs such as utilities, telecommunications and transportation.
