Nissex 2005 - billed as the premier safety and security expo for Nigeria - will be taking place at Le Meridien, Abuja, Nigeria, from 8 to 10 February.
Organised by Event Medical, the exhibition offers the security industry a safe and easy way to break into the huge market offered in the West Africa region. "Nigeria is the biggest country in Africa (based on population) and is fast becoming the most wealthy. Right now there are no safety and security manufacturers there, yet with the fast growing economy the need for these items and services is enormous," says organiser Cheryl-Lynne Young. "The visitors we are inviting are the business leaders of the region. Our partners have strong relationships with the armed forces and police service, and in the private sector they have shares in a lot of the mines and the banks in the region."
