SecuTech Expo 2005

December 2004 News & Events

SecuTech Expo, an annual event for security industry players, takes place in Taiwan in March 2005, exposing the power of the Asian security market to the rest of the world. With the principle of 'buy from Asia and sell to Asia', SecuTech Expo is geared to top the success from the past seven years and provide the most interactive ground for industry professionals assembling in Asia.

Opening on 31 March in the exhibition hall of Taipei World Trade Centre, Taiwan, SecuTech Expo 2005 will attract over 500 exhibitors from all over the world and feature more than 1500 products displaying the latest innovation. One thousand booths will fill the 18 000 square metre exhibition and visitors will find the best Asian manufacturers from Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China competing with the international big names.

Fully reflecting the global dynamics, the exhibition zeroes in on two focuses:

IT and Security Fused Technologies - in line with the trend that sees IT involvement with the security industry, SecuTech Expo will include Asia's biggest IP Surveillance Pavilion, BioAsia Gallery and corresponding forum sessions to further advance this development and offer new opportunities and partnerships in this joint venture.

Customised and Integrated Solutions - in order to provide latest technologies on system integration, SecuTech Expo 2005 features the theme of integrated solutions with highlighted applications in financial services/banking, residential and transportation.

Combining the exhibition with more than 50 forum sessions that offer invaluable insights on the industry, SecuTech Expo 2005 features:

* Four Pavilions: IP Surveillance, CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Alarm/Intercom.

* BioAsia 2005 (biometrics identification).

* IP Surveillance Solution Zone.

* International Village: USA and China.

* The Fourth Global Digital Surveillance Forum.

* iSecuTech Taipei (info-security exhibition).

* Fire & Safety Taipei (fire and safety exhibition).
