For total confidence in security and surveillance applications, Elvey offers the installer-friendly BGSM-A. This multipurpose module can be simply and cost-effectively integrated with most alarm systems, and can operate as a GSM interface, Voice Dialler, SMS Dialler and Remote Control via SMS.
The BGSM-A Interface allows control panels that communicate using Contact-ID to switch to the GSM network in the event of telephone failure. The simulated line, provided by the BGSM-A, supplies the line and ring voltage, thus allowing the hardwired telephone device to operate as a wireless device. An added feature of the BGSM-A is that it can operate as a 4 channel SMS communicator providing four inputs, each able to manage text messages (SMS), that will be sent when the input state changes.
This practical all-application device enables users to control connected appliances (enable/disable outputs) via SMS; a feature that surely increases its value, and makes it the perfect home-automation tool. The four inputs can also be used to activate the GSM Voice dialler facility. This facility is provided by the NC2/VOX (optional module), that manages up to eight recordable voice messages for a total of 90 seconds message time. The BGSM-A can be used in numerous telematic operations, and is an alternative to complete a security system.
