SensAble Sensors has announced the addition of a versatile standalone proximity product to its range - the ultra compact DorAble single door proximity system. The cost-effective DorAble is capable of controlling 30 users and has a selectable output mode of pulse (2 second) or latch. This enables the product to be utilised in all small access control applications as well as in a variety of switching applications such as the arming of alarm systems, switching of lighting etc, all with the ease of use of contactless proximity cards or tags.

DorAble is available in three packaging formats - in an epoxy filled ABS plastic housing with polycarbonate label, in a robust stainless steel vandal resistant housing or in an intercom system panel mount format. This ensures that the product can be utilised reliably in all possible environments. SensAble Sensors would also welcome enquiries from OEMs requiring alternative enclosure formats or customisation.
