Cs Li-Lin launches standalone DVR with IP feature

October 2004 Surveillance

The Cs Li-Lin PDR-400 4 channel standalone digital video recorder which was launched at the end of 2003 is now available with a number of new features, including remote access.

The PDR-400 is the ideal solution for three- to four-camera CCTV surveillance applications, at an affordable price. With digital recording now firmly the standard for CCTV recording, many clients in the field with three to four camera applications are finding that to replace or upgrade their quad-compressor or multiplexer and video camera recorder (VCR) could be rather costly.

With the PDR-400 you are combining a quad/multiplexer and a VCR all in one, with digital recording the key element.

Some key features of the PDR-400 include display speed of 100 fps (total); display resolution of 720 x 576; and storage capacity of 80 GB HD pre-installed, expandable up to 2 x HDD (supports single HDD up to 200 GB).

Additional features of the new PDR-400IP are:

* Audio recording: One channel audio can be recorded and transmitted via LAN. It can be accessed by the PDR-400 Viewer program.

* PDR-400 Viewer facilitates changing DVR system configuration; remote playback and reviewing; automatic video stream bandwidth control; audio over network; video image printing and file exporting; LAN traffic monitoring; and easy IP set up within PDR-400 device.
