A winning combination takes shape

October 2004 News & Events

Three established companies, offering a range of associated services and solutions in the 'smart' building management and security sectors, have merged their operations to form a single company.

The three are Inet industries, known for its ability to develop specialist software offerings both locally and internationally, specifically in the integration market; Isys Technologies, a company that has been involved in the engineering and installation of some of the country's truly integrated sites; and TAC Africa, a sales and distribution company, distributing and supporting its products throughout southern Africa, primarily in the security, HVAC and integration markets.

All the experience in software development, engineering, installation mythology, sales and support has fused together to form one company - iNet Solutions.

With support centres in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, iNet Solutions is gearing up to make its presence felt across SA.

The Inet Solutions management team comprises Chris Grice, operations; Dennis Esmonde White, technical; and Steve Mason, sales and marketing. Collectively, they draw on many years of experience to provide a comprehensive 'solutions' offering spanning concept, design, implementation and support.

iNet Solutions houses the TAC range of products, which is one of the top five BMS/Security systems available internationally, with the ability to support the technology at every level. Bespoke software, sub-system integration (CCTV, intruder alarm, fire alarm, HVAC, lighting and infrastructural management) can all be accommodated at a local level. Mason adds, "Flexibility within the technology is one thing, but the ability to use that to create 'indigenous' flavour is something we pride ourselves in being able to offer. We have the skills on-board to create a whole range of customised solutions, using a proven platform the world over." iNet Solutions has aligned itself with key manufacturers both locally and internationally to ensure a comprehensive single-source-supply can be maintained and controlled.

As Grice puts it: "We are no stranger to this market and, as such, have recognised the need to create a single supply source with the ability to provide support at any level. Through a single entity, we cover everything from the engineering and supply right down to implementation through our partners."

"We are seeing the convergence of IT, BMS and security to form a single 'integrated' solution', which can be confidently delivered at a local level, and be supported at an international level. South Africa is considered to be the leading drive towards a totally seamless future," concludes Mason.
