IndigoVision appoints South African distributor

IndigoVision, a supplier of IP video systems for the security and surveillance industry, has appointed Reditron as exclusive distributor for South Africa. Reditron is a prominent distributor of CCTV systems in South Africa and the partnership with IndigoVision provides an excellent platform for growing the emerging local IP video market.

"We were attracted to Reditron because of their experience with large scale projects, which is where IP video is most compelling today. We are looking forward to repeating the success we have had in other parts of the world, such as in airports, transportation, casinos etc, in the South African market," says IndigoVision's CEO, Oliver Vellacott.

IndigoVision has its headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland, and offers solutions for mission-critical applications in airports, city centres, mines, traffic systems and the military.

"IndigoVision has demonstrated an impressive and growing track record in enterprise-scale IP video projects, which is where we want to be. We are seeing an accelerating market shift from analog to IP and Reditron will be at the forefront of that change in South Africa," comments John Loftus, MD of Reditron.
