Access control system integrates intruder alarms

The new 'Cardax FT Remote Arming Terminal' delivers competitive alarm zone management functionality to keep sites secure.

Cardax FT, renowned for its access control solutions, now eliminates the requirement for a separate intruder alarm system with the Cardax FT Remote Arming Terminal, the one system now providing an integrated access control and intruder alarms solution. The Cardax FT Remote Arming Terminal is a versatile, user-friendly, keypad interface for onsite intruder alarms management.

Installed within the protected alarm zone, the Remote Arming Terminal allows authorised users to monitor, arm, force arm, isolate and disarm alarm zones (areas) of the integrated intruder alarm system, keeping the site secure.

Alarms can also be monitored by a remote monitoring station, using the Cardax FT Dialler; to allow appropriate response plans to be actioned if required. Integration of intruder alarms and access control makes for a complete solution to monitor access and security of a site at all times.
