Botswana Radio & TV Building opts for Bosch

February 2004 Surveillance, Infrastructure

Video surveillance has become indispensable and remains one of the fastest growing areas within the security arena. Botswana Radio & TV Building recently installed a CCTV solution, courtesy of AFS Systems, utilising Bosch products, including an 8500 Series AllegiantA video switcher/control system, FlexiDome cameras and Bosch 14" and 21" colour video monitors.

Two different video multiplexers were used in the communications building: The UniversalMux, which uses state-of-the-art technology to produce high quality, true-to-life colour video images, and the 2660 Series 16 channel multiplexer which has a large video memory capacity providing high quality images with faster updates.

All the products can be controlled and programmed from one keyboard, the IntuiKey KBD Universal digital keyboard, an easy to operate product with an intuitive interface and an integral variable speed pan/tilt/zoom joystick.
