Rapiscan gets the thumbs up from Israel

Israeli Airport Authority - IAA - has selected Rapiscan to provide X-ray security equipment for their airports and border crossings. A subsidiary of OSI SYSTEMS, a worldwide provider of comprehensive security solutions, Rapiscan had to pass a stringent review to win prestigious sole provider status.

Ajay Mehra, president of OSI Systems security group, says, "We are now a current vendor to Israel's IAA and the United Kingdom's BAA, as well as a leading certified X-ray carry-on baggage systems vendor to the United States. This order, in conjunction with a prior $14 million order to supply Israel with 16 large cargo systems, for use at border crossings, gives us a very broad presence in this highly security conscious nation."
