Lenel Systems International has introduced the OnGuard GO! Series that brings together the company's award-winning access control software and digital video solution in a single chassis solution.

The OnGuard server and client software (32ES or 32ESI) is loaded alongside the OnGuard Video software to offer this investigative tool. "The OnGuard GO! Series solution offers small to midsize organisations the investigative tools required to effectively secure their facilities," stated Rudy Prokupets, chief technology officer and executive vice president of research and development at Lenel Systems International. "By combining access control/alarm monitoring, ID/credential management and digital video management onto a single integrated PC chassis solution, the OnGuard GO! Series redefines commercial security system architecture."

The OnGuard GO! series contains the following components: access control software that supports up to 32 devices, 64 readers, 5000 cardholders with 32 000 access levels, alarm monitoring application, OnGuard database, map designer, and video management (8, 16, or 24 channel configurations). The OnGuard GO! series-ESI option also includes OnGuard ID credential management. The ! series utilises the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system.

Customers can use the video matrix view capability to view all the cameras on the system simultaneously, as well as view live and recorded video. Further, important video clips may be exported to the read/write CD-ROM drive or sent via e-mail. An optional loop-through adaptor, capable of supporting 8 channels, is available to send video from one channel to a monitor.

The OnGuard GO! series is also available in a video-only configuration. It offers up to 32 channels of digital video along with OnGuard Map Designer and OnGuard Alarm Monitoring application.
