New addition to Cardkey range

November 2000 Access Control & Identity Management

Johnson Controls has added the Cardkey CK720 network controller panel to its existing line of security products.

The CK720 can be integrated with the Cardkey Pegasys 1000 or Cardkey Pegasys 2000 software.

Industry standard Ethernet TCP/IP ready, the CK720 with its 32-bit applications is able to handle high-volume, high-speed information exchange with the host security system.

With up to 48 MB of RAM, the CK720 allows for a large storage capability. 200 000 cardholder badges, with up to 20-digit badge numbers, can be achieved. In addition, CK720 accommodates 12 facility codes per reader, 64 time zones, 40 holidays and eight access group/time zone pairs per badge. The on-board flash memory allows for back-up of the database.

The CK720 is compatible with most industry standard card readers, keypads and combined card/keypad readers including hands-free proximity, Wiegand, magnetic stripe, smartcard and bar code card technologies. In addition, custom card formats may be engineered and added to the panel.
