Biometric access control solution for Anglogold

November 2000 Access Control & Identity Management

Kalatel's new CyberDome Classic integrated dome surveillance system provides 176x total magnitude with a new 22x optical zoom used in conjunction with its 2x-8x digital zoom. The 38% increase makes it easy for system operators to clearly zero in on a licence plate across a parking lot or an individual at the far side of a room.

Featuring either a high-resolution colour or black and white camera, the CyberDome Classic adapts to almost any daytime application and is suitable for most low-light applications. It provides 470 TV lines of reception, backlight compensation, 64 programmable presets, four preset tours, and preset and zone titling.

Users can choose one of four cameras and then customise the system with an array of dome housings and mounting accessories.
