Hi-Tech Laboratory, exclusive distributor of Identix products in South Africa, has a range of biometric-based access control products to suit any industry.

The Identix range includes the BioTouch PC card fingerprint reader which replaces hard-to-remember passwords with one touch of the finger.

Inside a single Type II PC card is a fully functional optical fingerprint reader. Just press the side of the PC card and out slides the fingerprint reader. Place your finger on the reader to authenticate and press it back in.

BioTouch comes with the award-winning BioLogon Client for Windows software, which allows one to control who accesses one's laptop. If there is a need for network security, the BioLogon software can easily be configured to log on to any Windows NT domain with BioLogon Server for Windows (purchased separately).
