HBA introduces new Firewolf smoke detector

December 2003 Fire & Safety, Access Control & Identity Management, Products & Solutions

HBA Systems, the sole sub-Saharan agent for Napco since 1992, has introduced the new Firewolf advanced photoelectric smoke detector, manufactured by Napco's Firewolf division. These smoke detectors accurately detect all types of fire, including paper, wood, petrol, polystyrene and smouldering fires. The units are available in both 2- and 4-wire models.

The new optical detectors have a patented chamber design that significantly reduces unwanted chamber reflections - this allows the light source to be more sharply focused. This combination of superior chamber construction and photoelectric beam, enables precision detection of even minute particles, as produced by clean-burning fires.

Attractive in looks, these new detectors have a new ultra-low profile construction which has a 'built-in' mounting base.

The Napco Security Group is one of the world's most diversified manufacturers of electronic security products, encompassing burglar and fire alarms, access control systems and electronic digital and proximity locks.
