Mul-T-Lock - one key, endless possibilities

November 2003 Products & Solutions, Residential Estate (Industry), Products & Solutions

No more bunches of keys to open all your office doors, no more picking of locks and petty theft. The Mul-T-Lock provides convenience, security and safety all in one advanced locking system. Use one key across a complete range of locking devices, padlocks, cylinders, gearlocks.

The Mul-T-Lock master key systems provide you with the ability to meet virtually every need, including the most challenging projects. You are able to create your own master key systems and choose the level of security you need, eliminating the necessity for individual keys for each door and allowing you to open a series of doors or office blocks with only one master key. With the support of Mul-T-Lock key software you are able to manage your various levels of access authorisation and monitor your master key systems.

The Mul-T-Lock key uses a unique pinning system, 'pin in a pin', giving a large number of key combinations (over 160 000 differs). This excludes the use of bottom and side pins, which are generally used in master or grand master systems. The 'pin in a pin' system makes picking and drilling of the lock virtually impossible. Special cutters and machinery are required to cut the keys and these are not freely available.

Mul-T-Lock introduces new profiles on a regular basis, minimising the cost effectiveness of key blank houses copying its keys. Each key has a different coloured key blank head or coloured insert for quick lock identification in large applications.

Mul-T-Lock classic cylinders contain an advanced, high precision, 10 telescopic pin tumbler mechanism. Hundreds of different, patented, top of the range, replacement cylinders are available to choose from.

The importance of key cutting control for high security products is greater today than ever before. As a result, all Mul-T-Locks are supplied with personal identification cards to authorise key duplication by code. Orders for keys marked 'do not duplicate' will only be accepted upon presentation of a key identification card. Key cutting procedures and machinery are only provided to authorised locksmiths. Key duplication is protected by international patents.
