New Union range of padlock

The ASSA ABLOY SA padlock range designed and manufactured for the professional end user, under the Union brand, is built to meet the standards of the South African Bureau of Standards Specifications, ensuring added safety and security from all of its products.

An array of padlocks have been designed to assist end-users with the locking of assorted sized gates, chains, safes, boxes (meter, signal, point, tool and the like), sub-stations, etc. Lock body sizes range between 30 mm to 70 mm in conventional brass body padlocks, 45 mm to 51 mm glass reinforced nylon padlocks, 78 mm Insurance Grade padlocks with differing key profiles and key mastering options are available. Brass, hardened steel and stainless steel shackles are also built in varying lengths.

Of added convenience, is the fact that one can have a choice of various key systems, such as key differing, master keying and keyed alike locks. The design of the new Union range of padlock, incorporates a more secure key profile which will enable users of the Roodepoort range of padlocks to retain their existing padlock suite, as the existing keys will operate the new range of Union padlocks.

Alternative services offered by ASSA ABLOY SA include the option of having additional keys made to order with your company logo stamped on the padlock body and/or key to establish a unique corporate identity.
