GeoVision Version 6 to be released in November

At the recent 'National Summit on Security 2003' held in Washington DC, GeoVision demonstrated the beta version of its latest software Version 6.0, expected to be released in November.

GeoVision South Africa has just received Version 6 of the GeoVision control software and has extended an invite to its clients and business partners to arrange a demonstration and view the new features at its offices.

Hardware

* GV-Audio 16 to support all models (except GV-250) in v6.0.

* GV-POS Box to support POS (point-of-sale) software in GV-system.

* Twin DVR designed to distribute workloads across separate computers through the twin servers.

Software

* More search options in View Log - by Event, Motion List, Object, Human Face, and by Thumbnail Browsing.

* Object Counter counts objects moving through a designated area.

* Screen Pop-up by motion detection.

* Main Screen View with live audio.

* Electronic Floor Plan to easily locate cameras, sensors and alarms.

* Object Tracking by PTZ camera to automatically locate, lock-on, zoom-in, track movement of targeted objects.

* Video Files to be deleted only after a set number of days.

* Web Cam application is greatly enhanced to provide more useful information for MIS.

* Free DNS server to your own remote applications.
