IP usergroup membership is now free

Following its launch at IFSEC 2003, the IP UserGroup - a technology forum dedicated to sharing IP knowledge - has received a high level of interest and has already gained a large number of members, according to organisers IP Security Events & Media.

Due to the excellent response from businesses registering as Affiliate Members, the registration fee for individual membership has now been removed, enabling everyone with an interest in IP to access the latest information and educational material available through the IP UserGroup.

So far, the group has attracted a worldwide membership from over 40 countries which includes a large number of Affiliate Members representing key manufacturers, resellers, solution providers and third party support services, such as Axis Communications, Baxall, CNL, Dedicated Micros and Sanyo.

Services include:

* Regional and national meetings to ask questions, express and exchange views and solutions and to organise lobbying to influence standards, where appropriate;

* Free subscription to a quarterly technical journal; regular electronic newsletters;

* 10% discount on IP training programmes;

* A classified directory of IP-related businesses; a comprehensive website featuring all the latest news, product launches, services, case studies, statistics, reports and white papers on IP.
