Aluvin Securiseal has upped the quality stakes in the industry through a significant upgrade of its manufacturing facilities in Germiston. "For half a century Aluvin has endeavoured to bring customers the latest and best in security sealing products. Now, at 50, we are not resting on our laurels but more committed to innovation and quality than ever before. The acquisition of the new injection moulding machines and sophisticated printing facilities is the first in a series of upgrades which will assist us to keep on delivering the quality our customers are accustomed to."

Aluvin Securiseal distributes and manufactures a wide range of industry-leading seals - plastic and metal indicative, cable and high-security barrier seals. Of total sales, 60% of seals are manufactured locally, most under licence for world leaders ITW Envopak and E.J. Brooks. The company also works with a local industrial design house to develop and manufacture product for specific applications such as retail packaging and airline and transit security. The majority of seals are made to order - in a specific colour, with the company name and sequential numbers.

"Manufacturing has always been one of Aluvin's strategic strengths and critical to the company's growth. Our ability to produce internationally patented as well as locally designed seals to the highest quality standards allows us to offer world-class product at a competitive price and gives us the flexibility to meet customer requirements," Norwitz said.
