Elvey International has announced that it has strengthened its electronic security distribution business by integrating two of its divisions, VisionLine and Elvey International into a single entity.

VisionLine, a distributor of high quality CCTV, access control and fibre-optic solutions, will now be under the control and management of Elvey International, a leading distributor of intrusion detection solutions. Elvey International is renowned for offering installers, architects and specifiers unique and total solutions with trusted brands such as Caddx, DSC, Optex and Pyronix.

"With its well established marketing and sales network, Elvey International will be better equipped to provide a premium service to the growing CCTV and access control markets," comments Jack Edery, CEO of Elvey International. Added Andrew Stead, managing director of Elvey International, "I have always believed in offering our customers the very best products with unequalled levels of after sales support. With our more comprehensive range of security products, we will be able to provide security solutions to all sectors of the industry throughout Sub-Saharan Africa."

Because of the diversity of the market, VisionLine has traditionally focused more on system integrators, architects and engineers. Now, with the established sales and support network that Elvey has created over the years, and with leading brands like VisionLine, Sony, Samsung and Pentax, Elvey International is confident that it will be able to cater to the needs of all installers and specifiers of CCTV, access control and fibre-optic solutions in the industry.
