Honeywell Security Group's Braamfontein trade counter moves to Linbro Park

October 2003 News & Events

From the beginning of November Honeywell's Braamfontein trade counter will move to the new Honeywell Security Group headquarters in Linbro Park situated in Galaxy Park at 17 Galaxy Avenue. Ahmed Bhabha, manager of Honeywell's Intrusion and CCTV business, says that the move is a positive one in line with Honeywell's drive for greater efficiency through consolidation. Honeywell has recently rationalised its entire security offering under the banner of the Honeywell Security Group, which will be situated in one large, fully equipped building.

"The availability of the counter service at Linbro Park will have many advantages for our customers," he says, "with plenty of available secure parking and easy access from the N3 highway off Marlboro Drive, the new premises are conveniently placed close to most major nodes including Midrand, the East Rand, Randburg, Wynburg, Strydom Park to name only a few."

For any customers that do find it less convenient to travel to Linbro Park, Honeywell will be offering a convenient, free daily delivery service. According to Bhabha, Honeywell has been receiving positive feedback regarding its more user friendly consolidated approach.

"Our emphasis in moving all our security interests into the one premises is to provide our customers with a convenient, genuine 'under one roof experience'. Customers we have talked to believe it makes much more sense. Bringing the full team together means all our expertise, stock and service is in one place and can be accessed by the customer during one visit."

"Honeywell is committed to the South African security market and the move to the new premises represents a considerable capital investment. At Linbro Park we boast a very well stocked warehouse, on-site repairs workshop and a well-equipped demonstration room. We are looking forward to welcoming all our customers to show off our new premises," he concludes.
